October 2018

In October we went to Castletown House on a maths trail. We went on a bus with 5th and 6th class .When we got there we had to walk to the house. Then we got into groups of four. We got a sheet with questions on it that we had to answer.We went for a tour around the house. We had to answer a question and solve a problem about maths in each room. In the Ballroom we saw a servants’ secret passage. Also in the Dining room we had to count all the ovals that we could see. Then we went back to the school on the bus. Everyone had a great day out.
