On the 21st October, 5th and 6th class went to Barnhall to play a tag rugby blitz against various other schools. Both classes were split into five different teams, each with twelve players. Each team put on their jerseys and headed out onto the pitch.

 

There were ten different pitches and each team headed towards a different one. Everyone strapped on their belts and stuck on their tags and started playing the first match. After two matches all of the Ardclough teams were doing very well. They had won a lot of their matches. Everyone had their lunch before going back out onto the pitches to play some more. 

 

At the end of the day, everyone played very well and won most of their matches. We got the bus back to the school after the blitz. Everyone enjoyed the tag rugby and most of all, the day off school!
