5th Class have been very busy over the past few weeks preparing for Halloween. Below are some images showing what they have been up to.

Happy Christmas from 5th Class A!

We learned about different emotions and what strategies we could use to handle difficult emotions. We made worry monsters as part of our learning.

We did lots of fun activities for Science Week 2020. One of the activities we enjoyed the most was making (and launching!) N.A.S.A. inspired paper rockets.  

4th Class have been working with writer Juliette Saumande to develop a creative project based on the Sun, Moon and stars, as part of the Dublin West Education Centre funded Teacher Artist Partnership project. So far we've written sun poetry, explored our galaxy through drama activities, explored locations all over the planet using ICT,  created lunar self-portraits and explored linking colours to emotions.   

Linking with our theme of 'Water' we made boats from a range of household materials and tested them in water!
