Hello from Fifth Class. We are now busy learning about The Great Famine in History, the EU in Geography and about plants in Science.

 

We have also just been learning about Photosynthesis in plants and came across new vocabulary such as chlorophyll, phloem, xylem, glucose, stomata and transpiration.

 

We have also been busy planting our Home guard potatoes in the school garden. Hopefully, we’ll have a great crop during harvest time. Photos to follow:
