Charity Walk to Lyons Estate

November 2019

On the 8th November we did a charity walk from the school to the Lyons Estate. It was organised by the Parent’s Support Group to raise money for the school. It was meant to be on in October but the weather was too bad. This day was a beautiful day however with the sun shining brightly.

The 6th class led the way and the other classes followed behind. The Junior and Senior Infants went as far as the GAA club.

We walked down the path, then went down the canal and into the Cliff at Lyons. While we were walking down the Cliff at Lyons Tom hit his head off a sign! When we were walking back to the school the staff from the Cliff at Lyons gave us jellies.

Thanks to the PSG for organising it!
