Dear parents
It’s a busy time here in St Anne’s and everyone is really excited about our Variety Show on Thursday. As you know the times are 10am for classes up to 1st class and 12.30pm for those from 2nd – 6th
We ask that you keep photos to a minimum so as not to disturb children on stage; also that you remain in the hall for the full performance, again so as not to distract the children.
Thanks for all your support in sourcing costumes, assisting in learning lines etc- It will be all worthwhile! Sincerest thanks also to our staff of teachers, SNAs, Nora and Tony for their huge work in preparing for the show and for their commitment to everything I St Anne’s over the past year
ON Friday, Pat Doyle from Peter Mc Verry Trust will join us for assembly and we will give him the donations that you have sent in. Friday is also Christmas Jumper day (or any Christmas item) and we hope to raise funds for Crumlin Children’s Hospital (if children could bring in €2 or any amount you see fit, that would be great) . We hope that another visitor may arrive too if he’s not too busy packing his sleigh for Christmas night!
School Times for Friday:
- School will be closing at 12.30pm.
- In an effort to ease traffic congestion, children in infant classes and their siblings may go at 12.15 and Ms Sheehy’s at 12
May I take this opportunity to wish you, the children and everyone in the St Anne’s community a very happy and peaceful Christmas. Thanks to the children who bring us such joy at this time of year- I look forward to welcoming everyone back on January 7th for a new and exciting year
Kind regards
Mary Manley
