On the 15th October Maths Week began in St Anne’s. Sixth Class were tasked with creating fun maths games for other classes to play and enjoy. All the classes were split into three groups. Group 1 was for Junior and Senior infants, Group 2 was for 1st and 2nd class and Group 3 was for 3rd 4th 5th and 6th class. Everyone in the class had to choose which they wanted to make games for. There was 5 boys and 5 girls in every group.

School Tour

We went on our school tour to Redhills Adventure Centre in Kildare on 6th June. It was great fun. We went with third class. We were split into groups and then we went to different areas.
We did an obstacle course and raced each other.
We did problem solving activities.
After lunch we did archery tag where we got to shoot at each other!

Our class did various sporting activities during the year. Before Christmas we went swimming in K Leisure in Naas for a few weeks. It was great fun and we learned a lot.

Building a Bridge!

We recently joined forces with a school in Bawnogue, Clondalkin to work on ICT projects. We have got lots of new equipment like Chromebooks and Lego WeDo packs.

We are going to tell you about our Christmas play.
Our teacher Mr. O’Leary printed out scripts for everyone in our class. Everybody got a part. We practised it for a week over and over again. Mr O’ Leary helped us make costumes but some people brought in their own. On the day we were really nervous going onto the stage but we did great! Our teacher said he was proud of us.
