At the beginning of February, a man named Conor came to
our school to teach us Gaelic football skills. He was representing Kildare G.A.A. For five weeks he did football training with us for our P.E. class. He taught us how to do some basic G.A.A. skills such as soloing, hand passing, kicking and more.
Leah Tyndall’s father brought in the Sam Maguire Cup. We were lucky to have this in our school and even luckier to have a turn at holding it. The cup was large and also very heavy.
