On 17th February four students from St. Anne’s National School went to Ballymany N.S. and competed in a G.A.A quiz. There were ten rounds with ten questions in each of them. There were 41 teams competing in this quiz. There were four people in a team. Our team was Eleanor Clancy, Cathal Light, Enda O’Brien and Chloe O’Gorman.
All of the teams went into a big hall and sat in chairs while the quiz master called out the questions to each team. We wrote our answers on a sheet and gave them up at the end of every round.
Our team came joint fourth with 87 points out of 100. The team that won the quiz got 91 points.
The team that won were given a big golden trophy for their victory and effort in the quiz.
