Over the last few years, Mr. O’Leary our teacher has entered our school into a quiz competition in Newbridge. To find out who would represent the school, Mr. O’Leary did a couple of general knowledge quizzes to see who would go to Newbridge for the quiz. The top four highest scoring children got picked out of the many participants to represent the school. The people who were picked were: Daniel Saunders, Evan Gilchrist, James Goulding and our captain, Luke Wiseman.
On the 8th March, we travelled to Newbridge in high spirits. There were 100 questions about general knowledge. We got 92 out of 100, which we thought was a respectable score, but we came 9th out of the 32 entrants, which shows the quality of all the other schools. We had a great day and a great experience. We now know that Clare is in Munster!
