We have some wonderful artists in 4th class. Have a look at our amazing work over the past few weeks!              

We really enjoyed designing and creating our dream homes from recyclable materials.    

We have been learning about 3D shapes in school. We had so much fun today building the shapes we have learned about including cubes, cuboids, different types of pyramids and prisms. We have learned all about the faces, edges and vertices on the shapes. This was a fun (and tasty) activity. :)

We really enjoy playing maths games to help our understanding of different concepts, especially with fractions and decimals. We have been learning about equivalent fractions using a fraction wall and we also explored tenths and hundredths and how to convert fractions and decimals using different games.  

We love science in 4th class and we enjoy finding out how things work. Have a look at some of the activities we got involved in for science week, including balloon rockets, building tinfoil boats, enjoying STEM activities and exploring the effects of sugary drinks on eggshells. We couldnt believe the results of that one!           

For art today we explored the style of characters drawn in Tim Burton movies. We picked out the features of this style of drawing and drew ourselves in that style.                                         

We had great fun today dressing up for Halloween. There were some very creative costumes in 4th class.                                                 

The boys and girls in 4th class have completed and presented their reports on the animal of their choice - Each one well researched and carefully put together. They all look brilliant!  

Have a look at 4th class in action learning about how to be safe when cycling on the road and putting their skills into action. Excellent participation by everyone, well done everyone!                                      

We really enjoyed creating these autumn woods scenes for art today. First we lightly sketched the trunks of the trees. Then, we mixed orange, yellow and red together to create the vibrant colours of the leaves of the tree. Finally, we painted our background. The colours look amazing and everyone's picture is unique. I think you will all agree that everyone did a fantastic job, well done 4th class
