We had great fun in Aistear during December. We got the chance to work in Santa’s workshop and had lots of fun in the sleigh too.

We also made lovely Christmas trees!

 

At the beginning of March, we were very surprised to see so much snow in our yard!

On Friday the 16th of March, we went on our first school trip! We travelled on the bus into Dublin City Centre and went to The Ark Theatre. We  discovered and explored the colours and textures of a city that the artists had created. We looked at building models, sculptures and street art. We then used lots of 3D shapes and junk to create our own city. After that we used lots of materials to create houses. We sang lots of songs on the way back to school on the bus!

 

On Friday the 23rd of March, we dressed up as a character from a book. Earlier in the week we enjoyed ‘Share a Book’ activities and visiting the book fair.
