Congratulations to the students from last year's 2nd class (Ms Keohane and Ms Mc Carthy) as well as those who attended small group violin sessions on their wonderful performances, captured here on video for your enjoyment.
The videos capture the central place of music making in St Anne's, the social aspect of being involved and showcase the talent of so many students. They are all stars in the making!

Well done to the members of the choir who put in many hours of practice and who represented themselves and our school very well on the day! We look forward to many more performances during the school year.

Christmas Village
December 2021

This was very difficult and would have caused a lot of problems for Michelangelo.
To try to imagine how tough Michelangelo had it, we decid...

Lego We Do Race
October 2021
In October, we began to work with Chromebooks and Lego We Do.
After going through a few lessons, Mr O’Leary gave us a challenge. He wanted us in our groups to design and create a vehicle capable of taking part in a race. There were several tutorials available to help us and we all tried to create the vehicle which would give us the best chance of winning. Once we had built the model, we then had to use a programme on the Chromebooks to tell the Lego what to do. We ha...

Picking Potatoes!
October 2021
In May when we were in fifth class with Mr Roughan, we planted some potatoes in the school garden. Although Mr Roughan has now left the school, we felt we should make sure that these potatoes didn’t go to waste and so in October, Kathy got a spade and we went digging!
At first we didn’t have too much success but as we kept trying, we eventually found quite a few potatoes. We filled a bucket full and Jack was the lucky one who got to take them home!
