Rugby
For 4 weeks, we did tag rugby with Gareth. We did lots of games and drills. There were four different teams each week. Two played against each other while the others watched and supported. There were pink and yellow tags and a Velcro belt that you stuck the tags on. We had lots of fun and it was very enjoyable. Here are some pictures:

St. Patrick’s Day
by Seán Walsh
March 2017
On 16th March, we all wore green into school for St. Patrick’s Day. We all gathered in the hall and paraded around the school. The leaders of the parade had a bodhrán and a tin whistle. We went around the school twice and then back inside. After that, we did Irish dancing in the hall with a woman named Natalie. She taught us dances such as the walls of Limerick. When we were finished we made little green leprechaun hats.

However, it was not easy to do and we are going go tell you how we produced the Christmas Truce play.
We divided in groups to do various jobs such as creating the backdrop, making and getting props, finding costumes and writing the s...

The actors and actresses did all of the vocals and the songs were really good.
They started in the local pub and then they got recognition for their pe...

Bird Silhouettes
by Susanna Kelly
November 2016
In November, we painted bird silhouettes. We painted them by choosing a colour of our choice for the background, for example red, yellow, blue, purple etc. First, we painted the background to look like a sunset affect. When the background was dry we painted on a bird, animal or object in black onto the page.
Here are a few examples of our work:

Before Halloween we began to learn the dance to Michael Jackson’s song “Thriller”. We practised the dance for our P.E over the course of two weeks. On the last day before the Hallowe’en break Mr O’Leary recorded our final performance after our two weeks of hard work. It finally paid off resulting in a flawless performance! It only took one attempt. We all wore our Hallowe’en costumes on the day of the recording. Cue the video!
