Student Council Elections 2024

In November, we held our Student Council Elections. Children from every class from first to sixth made the brave decision to run in our elections and then they told their classes what they would do to help the class and school if elected.  On Friday 29th November, the same day as the General Election, we held our own elections. November Activities 2024

This November 4th Class has really enjoyed taking part in their tag rugby lessons with the rugby player JP! 4th class has also been busy participating in the Happy Maths program with the inventor! Happy Maths raises awareness about Maths Anxiety and how digital game-based learning can mitigate its negative effect. October Halloween Art

This October 4th class have been busy creating spooky prints using lino and marbling inks. Inspired by the artist Edvard Munch we also created our own version of the painting 'The Scream'. Our 4th class creative arts committee also helped organise the whole school Halloween Art Competition. Well done to everyone who took part! Happy Hallowe’en from 2nd Class

We have had a busy but exciting few weeks since starting 2nd Class in September! We love our new classroom and have gotten used to our new routines and schedule. Some of our favourite activities over the past 2 months have been art projects, making comic strips as Gaeilge, running on the track, playing GAA with Kelly, learning the violin and playing 'Brain Challenge' games.
