Our theme for April was Space. Children really enjoyed this theme. Children dressed up as astronauts and scientists and role played going to space. They explored moon rocks, carried out experiments and explored our space station.    For construction children designed and built their own rocket and designed a new space station. We are delighted to have Leo in to work with the children. They have really enjoyed exploring rhythm, making up their own rhythms, playing the drums and so much more. 

Children are having great fun with Aistear this month. Our theme is the baby clinic. Children have enjoyed playing the role of doctors, nurses, children, receptionists, surgeons etc. They have bandaged babies and themselves, administered medicine, checked blood pressure and temperatures and wiped cuts etc.
