The 2017 Lunch Time League began at the start of May. The children from fifth and sixth classes were split into eight teams and then each team drew out a county name and play as that team. Each team will play every other team before the top four compete for the Principal's Cup and the bottom four compete for the Principal's Shield. The leaders of the parade had a bodhrán and a tin whistle. We went around the school twice and then back inside. After that, we did Irish dancing in the hall with a woman named Natalie. She taught us dances such as the walls of Limerick. When we were finished we made little green leprechaun hats.

by Liam Dempsey and Cathal Reeves October 2016 Before Halloween we began to learn the dance to Michael Jackson’s song “Thriller”. We practised the dance for our P.E over the course of two weeks. On the last day before the Hallowe’en break Mr O’Leary recorded our final performance after our two weeks of hard work. It finally paid off resulting in a flawless performance! It only took one attempt. We all wore our Hallowe’en costumes on the day of the recording. Cue the video!
