Teacher Artist Partnership Project

4th Class have been working with writer Juliette Saumande to develop a creative project based on the Sun, Moon and stars, as part of the Dublin West Education Centre funded Teacher Artist Partnership project. So far we've written sun poetry, explored our galaxy through drama activities, explored locations all over the planet using ICT,  created lunar self-portraits and explored linking colours to emotions.

Basketball League 2020

by Sixth Class January 2020 In January, we started the second St. Anne's Basketball League. Children from 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th classes were divided into sixteen teams and these teams were split into four groups. Each team played three games and at the end of each group the teams were put into a large league table of all 16 teams. The Christmas Village

It took four days to create.   First, we brainstormed ideas and put ourselves into 5 different groups. These were Builders, Landscapers, Engineers, Electricians and Artists.
