There were 16 teams in the basketball league called after the NBA teams and divided into four divisions.

Grandparents day in Junior Infants
Our grandparents came into school today. It was wonderful. They all enjoyed coming back to school. We talked about their time in school. School life then and now. They said their school life was so different from ours. We sang songs, said a poem and we done some art with our grandparents. We made houses. It was great fun. Please come back soon Grandparents.

We are going to tell you about our Christmas play.
Our teacher Mr. O’Leary printed out scripts for everyone in our class. Everybody got a part. We practised it for a week over and over again. Mr O’ Leary helped us make costumes but some people brought in their own. On the day we were really nervous going onto the stage but we did great! Our teacher said he was proud of us.

Castletown House Maths Trail

In September and October two people came to teach us cycling. Their names were Ruth and Graham. We did it for eight weeks on Wednesdays.
