Dear Parents,
Just a little suggestion of practical activities for the next 8 days during school closure.
Read a book of choice: Draw your favourite part of the story/can you write an alternative ending to the story?/Describe your favourite character/ Illustrate your favourite character.
Review Jolly Phonics on Youtube and Geraldine Giraffe
Practise practical Maths -counting/sequencing/ using money/patterns/shapes in the environment etc

Aistear-The Zoo
Teacher Artist Partnership Project
4th Class have been working with writer Juliette Saumande to develop a creative project based on the Sun, Moon and stars, as part of the Dublin West Education Centre funded Teacher Artist Partnership project. So far we've written sun poetry, explored our galaxy through drama activities, explored locations all over the planet using ICT, created lunar self-portraits and explored linking colours to emotions.

Buoyancy, Floating, Sinking

Valentines Art
We made Valentines art this week. We made clay hearts by coiling the clay together. We left them to dry and then picked colours to paint them.
We also made Valentines cards for our parents.
